Mars Bar Cheesecake

The old "roadies" here know how much I looooooooooove cheesecake. My blog has quite a few in it. You can use any chocolate bar you like in place of the Mars Bar. A more cost effective option for the base is using a plain biscuit and 15g cocoa powder. When using cream cheese without gelatine for cheesecake be sure to buy the full fat version and the non spreadable version otherwise your cheesecake may not set. I find the Philadelphia blocks or Homebrand tubs work best for these no bake cheesecakes. Mars Bar Mousse

Delicious! These are more of a velvety mousse rather than a very air filled bubbly mousse. Delicious nonetheless. I needed to double the mixture to get the two mousses shown. This is probably going to be one of the last of my indulgent recipes now Christmas is nearly over. I have no excuse to try out things that are really bad for me... Oh that's right! Mars Bar Balls

Originally posted on Facebook December 4th 2013: These are the highlight of my day. I'm so impressed with these. My partner said they were yummy. Yummy!?!? They are better than yummy Mr!!! My 3 year old and I had a ball creating this recipe! This makes 20 balls. I won't say how many are left... Updated 2014: I cant believe how popular these have been. On my Facebook page they had over 27,500 shares, 4600 likes, 1700 comments and it rises every day. I definitely felt famous seeing all the talk about them online!
